Woonsocket to Celebrate Independence Day with

Annual Concert and Fireworks Display

*****DUE TO PREDICTED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS, THIS EVENING’S FIREWORKS ARE POSTPONED TO THURSDAY, JULY 5TH****

WOONSOCKET, R.I.: Mayor Lisa Baldelli-Hunt welcomes the community and visitors from throughout the Blackstone Valley region to Barry Memorial Field, located at 44 Smithfield Road, Woonsocket, RI, on Thursday, July 5th for the City of Woonsocket’s Annual Independence Day concert and fireworks celebration.

Festivities will kick-off at 6:30 p.m. with a musical performance by local favorite Jeff Gamache and Runaway Train followed by a colorful fireworks display, which will start at approximately 9:00 pm.

Local food vendors participating: Alien Ice Cream, Nessa’s Snack Shack, The Big Freezy, and Bugg’d Out BBQ.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to fully enjoy the night’s performances. Due to predicted showers and thunderstorms, the event has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 5th same time schedule.
